Article design rules
The articles submitted for the publication in the journal "DAGESTAN GAU PROCEEDINGS" should correspond to the following rules. If submitted materials don’t correspond to them, they will not be accepted. In this case, the editors shall notify the authors of their decision no later than 1 month from the day the materials are received. The editors recommend that authors submit articles by e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or bring them to the editorial office on flash drives. The electronic version of the article is considered as the original, in connection with which the authors are advised to check the conformity of the text on digital media before submitting materials to the editor.
An article may contain up to 10-15 typewritten pages (18 thousand characters with spaces), including figures, tables and a list of references. The electronic version of the article should be prepared in the form of a MSWord-2000 file and the following versions in the * .doc format for the Windows OS and contain the text of the article and all illustrated material (photographs, graphs, tables) with captions.
Rules for writing an article
- All elements of the article should be in the following format:
- Font: Times New Roman, size 10
- Paragraph: left margin is 1 cm, right is 0 cm, before and after 0 cm, alignment is in width, and the headings and titles of sections of the article are centered, line spacing is single
- Page margins: 2 cm to the left and right, 2 cm above, 2 cm below.
- The text in English must have the italics
- Mandatory elements of the article and the order of their location on the sheet:
UDC - left alignment
The next line is the title: the outline is “bold”, ALL CAPITALS, alignment is centered
The next line the authors: the style is “bold”, ALL CAPITALS, alignment is on the left, at the beginning are the initials, then the last name, then the academic degree and academic rank in lowercase letters.
The next line gives the place of work.
For example:

If there are several authors and they have a different place of work, the surname and the corresponding place of work are indicated by an upper index, for example:
AKHMEDOV M.M.1, Candidate of Economics, associate professor

2Dagestan State University, Makhachkala
Further through the interval: Annotation. The text of the annotation in the format as specified in paragraph 1 of these rules.
The annotation of the article is 200-250 words in Russian and English.
Abbreviations, formulas, links to sources are not allowed in the annotation.
- Keywords - 6-10 words - in Russian and English.
- The number of pages of text, the number of figures, the number of tables.
- Date of sending materials.
- Signatures of all authors.
* Annotation should have the following structure:
- The subject or purpose of the work.
- Method or Methodology of the work.
- The results of the work.
- The scope of the results.
- Conclusions.
Next line: Keywords. Several (6-10) keywords related to the topic of the article in the format as indicated in paragraph 1 of this rule.
Next line: Annotation. The text of the annotation in English in the format as specified in paragraph 1 of this rule.
Next line: Keywords. Several (6-10) keywords in English related to the topic of the article, in the format as indicated in paragraph 1 of these rules.
Then, at intervals, the text of the article in the format as indicated in paragraph 1 of this rule.
The text should not contain endnotes of type - 1, the footnote must be entered in the list of references, and in the text in square brackets indicate the serial number of the source from the list of references [4]. If this is just a clarification or reference, give it in brackets after the corresponding text in the article (this is a clarification or reference).
Tables.
Table title: starts with the word “Table” and the table number, dashes and capital letters indicate the table name. Font: size 10, bold, alignment - in the center; line spacing - single, for example:

Font: The font size in the tables can be less than 10, but not more.
Paragraph: left margin is 0 cm, right is 0 cm, before and after 0 cm, alignment is necessary, the column names in the header are centered, line spacing is single.
Tables should not be drawn, they must be inserted indicating the number of rows and columns, and then the width of the columns should be adjusted.
Figures, schemes, diagrams and other graphic images:
All graphic images should be a single object within the margins of the document. Insertion of objects from third-party programs is not allowed, for example, Insertion of a diagram from MS Excel, etc.
Schemes compiled using tables are not allowed. The graphic must be signed as follows:
Figure 1 - The result of exposure to herbicides, the inscription under the figure or diagram.
The graphic object should have the following formatting: Font - size 10, TimesNewRoman, font - bold, alignment - center, line spacing - single.
All formulas must be inserted through the formula editor. Formulas entered through tables, entries in two lines with underlining, and in other ways than using the formula editor are not allowed.
When presenting the material, one should adhere to the standard construction of the scientific article: introduction, materials and methods, research results, discussion of the results, conclusions, recommendations, and list of references.
The article should be a complete study. In addition, publications of an analytical, review nature are published.
References to the source are placed in the text in numerical designation in square brackets. The reference number must correspond to the cited author. Cited authors are located in the section “References” in alphabetical order (Russian, then foreign). The links presented in the "List of references" should be complete, and their design should comply with GOST R 7.0.5-2008. The number of links must be at least 15.
The following should also be attached to the materials of the article:
- A cover letter addressed to Chief editor of the journal " Dagestan GAU proceedings" Isrigova T.A.
- External review.
- Surname, name, patronymic of each author of the article indicating the name of the institution where the author works, his position, scientific degrees, ranks and contact information (address, phone, e-mail) in Russian and English.
- UDC.
- The full title of the article in Russian and English.
- Annotation of an article - 200-250 words - in Russian and English.

List of references
Requirements for the design of a bibliography are in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission and Scopus.
The list of references is written in Russian and in the Roman (Latin) alphabet (References in Romanscript).
References may contain up to 15 sources. It is recommended to provide links to publications in foreign periodicals.
References to textbooks, teaching aids, and abstracts of dissertations are not allowed.
The age of references to Russian periodicals should not exceed 3-5 years. References to old sources should be logically based.
References to dissertations (inaccessible sources) are not recommended. Instead of references to dissertations, it is recommended to provide links to articles published as a result of dissertation work in periodicals. The Roman alphabet provides a translation of the title of the dissertation.
References to the regulatory documentation should preferably be included in the text of the article or included in footnotes.
The titles of the journals must be transliterated, and the titles of the articles translated.
In the reference to patents in the Roman alphabet, transliteration and translation (in square brackets) of the name is required.
